Three Day Weekend!

Today at USAO I learned that it is important to have time off from school. Today is the 4th of July and I realized that I really needed this day off.

Independence Day is celebrated because it marks the birth of American independence from Great Britain. The 4th of July is often associated with barbeques, picnics, fireworks and swimming.

Today is my favorite holiday because summer is my favorite time of year. My daughter loves to play outside and I enjoy watching her play. I also love spending time with my dogs and this is the best time of year to do that. Every college student has certain things they like to do with their time off from school.

I learned that it is essential to have time off from school because when you go back you feel more refreshed. I feel that after school breaks that it is easier to get schoolwork done and I feel more focused.

Now, if you don’t mind. I am going to spend time with my family. Eat tons of food, watch fireworks and enjoy my day off from school.
